Jackpot!
Nick hit the jackpot at Chuck E Cheese's the other night. We met some friends for an evening of pizza and fun.
Children's Museum special Lego exhibit
We went to the Children's Museum recently for a special Lego exhibit. Nick and Sam had a blast building great structures with the Lego's and exploring other areas of the museum as well. Nick got a special chance to play the drums this time and even took his friend Ella for a "drive" in the Indy race car!
Brothers
Nick and Sam have become best buddies since Sam has become more and more mobile. Nick likes to help Sam get around the house in his own special way.

Snow dreams come true!
Every morning Nick wakes up and runs to look out his 
window and says "snow, more snow". Well, Nick got his wish last week when we got 12 inches of snow on Wednesday! He and Daddy and his dogs Abby and Winnie had some fun times playing in the snow together. Daddy demonstrated to Nick how to make a snow angel, but Nick was not interested in making one himself!

Cold weather attire
Living in the Midwest you have to get used to dressing in lots of layers, including hats, scarfs and coats! Here are some pictures of just that!

Nick and Sam are quite the hams in the bathtub! Nick understands the importance of good oral health and brushes his teeth every night.

Trains, Trains, Trains!
Last weekend Nick went to his first Train trade show! He loved looking at all the train setups and even got to ride on one with Daddy.
Christmas vacation
The week after Christmas Nick enjoyed a trip to the Children's museum with Mommy, Daddy, and 
Sam. Nick was brave enough to venture down the Yule slide this year with Daddy! Nick's favorite thing at the museum is still the trains. Nick celebrated 2 more Christmas's in IL with Grandparents and cousins from both sides of the family. Grama and Grampa's house was full of presents, kids and chaos! And Nick loved every minute of it! At Uncle Dan's house Nick got to try out his musical skills on the drums and he seems to have a bit of rhythm! Grampa Dan and Grama Jill rang in the New Year with us in IN.

We spent Christmas Eve with our good friends the Basiles. Nick, Sam and Tory were anxiously awaiting for the night to end and Christmas morning to finally get here! Nick was thrilled with his new tricycle and shopping cart. He is enjoying racing around the house with both toys!

Breakfast with Santa
Nick and Sam had breakfast with Santa last Saturday. Nick wasn't too sure about Santa this year but seemed to enjoy Mrs. Claus' company! He also loved the train display and making a snowman with Daddy.

School art project
Nick is enjoying his days at school. He is showing off his latest creation from school- a yummy, sugary Christmas tree!
First snowfall of the season
Nick and Daddy had to go outside and check out the first snowfall of the season. It wasn't much, but it was enough to make snowballs for Abby, Nick's dog, and it was enough to make a small snowman. Nick discovered the importance of mittens for his hands on this outing!
